I still stick with my earlier theory, of Angel Opaline and a dead Vanault. But this works fine, too. ;)

I *love* the two scenes with Merrick and Shayla...I found these episode summaries of Wild Force today, and they had pictures detailing, um, episodes...and it suddenly occurred to me that I have never once heard Merrick's voice! o.o The only time that I ever saw him was during Reinforcements from the Future, and he didn't speak in that one!

And I actually liked the picture summaries. The guy who made them was sarcastic in some of the captions, but it was done so well, and it made me laugh. So now I need to watch/download a Merrick episode...he gave Shayla a necklace in the show (did the engagement necklace thingy come from that?), and the pics of their fight scene over the Deerzord song made me wish I could've read the dialogue.

Hopefully, poor Merrick will be able to find some peace. And if Angel Opaline can't, you know, smack Vanault around some, I think that Animus should at least punch him a couple of times (disregarding that one time when he already punched him)...please? ;)
