Hi, WhiteZeo!

I really liked that last part. Maybe it was because Vanault was in it, and he wasnt a total jerk and actually reasonably likeable. Or it could just be because I am one of the few people that like Vanault. See, Rai likes Vanault too. So she is also very cool. But she doesnt know how psychotic the guy can get, and I do. And I like him anyways! Heehee!

Both had been warnings from the Eaglezord. If only She could have been more specific. If only they had paid closer attention. If only

Hmmm . . . I wonder. What is it that Rai was getting at here? Was it that the length and onset of the seasons were warnings that something bad was going to happen? If that is the case, Rai has cant blame anyone. This is totally in hindsight! Of course things are more clear now that things have actually happened.

Awww . . . Poor Vanault. That kind of makes his blowing up at Merrick more reasonable. He had just felt the love of his life die. That must have been harsh to say the very least.

Things like this always make me like Vanault more. He seems more human when he is not all angry at the world and plotting his revenge on everyone that wronged him and hating Merrick just because he is Ephanes son. When he is all broken and fragile it is easier to like him. It is easier to like someone who is not consumed with hatred and hostility.

She hadn't had a choice with Opaline; she had been ripped from them all. With Vanault however, she wasn't giving him up without a dirty fight.

I knew I liked Rai, even though we saw so little of her in the first legend. Vanault needs to know that he isnt alone even though he had just lost Opaline. He needs to know that he is still loved and wanted and needed. I think we need to open up that room and throw him, Rai, and the fawns in there for some quality time. Vanault needs some cheering up, and some time where he doesn't cross paths with Animus. He probably doesn't want to see Merrick either, so neither of them are allowed in that room. I just got a likeable Vanault back. I dont think I am ready to trade him in with the sinister, scheming, conniving Vanault. Nope. Not ready yet.
